Strength in Weakness

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬


Our power works best in his weakness. How do we become more powerful and effective? Humble ourselves and go to God for answers, strength, and to give credit/glory. It’s OK to admit that we don’t know or that we’re struggling. This gives God a platform to work through us and we can be models for those that we need and how the yield to the power of Christ.


I will start adopting phrases like this, “with God‘s help, it’ll get better.”

“I don’t know right now, but after I seek the Holy Spirit, I believe we’ll progress towards solutions.”

​ “Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4:25‬ ‭(NLT‬‬) Understand this:  Just because it gets your attention doesn’t mean it deserves your attention!  The most valuable currency in the world is the human attention span, which is about 8 seconds according to recent studies.  So every 8 seconds your attention span is controlled by you or something else.   The distractions and threats will always be there.  As Men of God we have to take action to build mental walls to stay focused and secure our future blessings.  Here is a question to ask when distractions and threats to our success come:  Is this RELEVANT to my goals and the dreams God gave me?  If the answer is “Yes,” welcome it and be blessed.  If the answer is “No”, let it go! Stay on God’s path for your life.  Eliminate the distractions. Go Win.  #FaithFriday

​The Beautiful Dynamics of a Team When one shines, we all shine.   When one falls, we all fall.  When one rises, we all rise. When one fades, we all fade.   With team success comes individual recognition.   The likelihood of success decreases when selfishness develops.   The probability of winning increases the more selflessness is present.  Everyone has a role. Everyone plays a part.  Deviation from the plan can lead to defeat.   If one doesn’t communicate or relay the message opposing attacks can be fatal.  Teammates must be courageous enough to speak up.  Teammates must be humble enough to listen.  The team must respect the lines of communication. The team must respect the decisions that are made on behalf of the team.  Ego, Gossip, Complaining, and Entitlement can kill a team from within.  Trust, Sacrifice, and Love can strengthen a team from within.  Shared hardship creates lasting, unbreakable bonds.  When ...
